Connect GrantSnag to your AI assistant

Paid GrantSnag subscribers can use funder research and manage their pipeline directly inside Claude, ChatGPT, and other MCP-capable assistants.

1. Add the GrantSnag MCP server

In your assistant's MCP/connectors settings, add a new server with this URL:

https://grantsnag.com/api/mcp

2. Sign in to authorize

Your assistant will open a GrantSnag sign-in page. Log in with your normal GrantSnag email and password and approve access. No keys to copy — you stay signed in until you disconnect. Access requires an active subscription.

3. Start with your organization

Ask your assistant to "find funders for [your organization]" — it will run a peer search, then rank co-funders (foundations that fund multiple organizations like yours) and help you build a pipeline with follow-up reminders.

Troubleshooting

• Not connecting? Confirm your subscription is active on your account page.
• Prompts/playbooks not showing? Some assistants don't surface them yet — the built-in guidance still works in every client.
